Your thoroughness in your critique explained the game very well! I had played this game before, and I agree, the game succeeds as a learning experience. At first, it was hard for me to grasp the gameplay, but the guide during the first few rounds did help me somewhat understand how the carbon moves. The gameplay does seem to go by a bit fast which can hinder the learning when I am trying to grasp what the last move did.
