My initial thoughts while reading the gameplay was also concerns about whether the "coding" learned is transferable to actually languages. But it seems to integrate more complex programming ideas into the later levels of the game, even a section focusing on web dev (HTML scripting) which I think is interesting. This game would be really great for children interested in starting CS as the game seems to really well in guiding players with no previous knowledge. Thanks for the read!
